The West Harbor Communities are comprised of five individual communities which all adjoin. Each one has its own rules and
regulations. This website will show you each community and
what it has to offer. Whether you live here full time,
weekends, or seasonal you will love West Harbor. We are kid
friendly, pet friendly, and totally respect each other whether
we live in a singlewide or a million dollar house. Happy
faces are everywhere.
Here's a little breakdown of who we are:
West Harbor Landings (you own your dock/land)
West Harbor Marina (you own your dock/land)
West Harbor Cove (everyone currently leases their land)
West Harbor Lagoons ( you either own or lease your land)
West Harbor Subdivision--These are the custom built homes which are all
directly on West Harbor and the adjoining channel to it.
There are 37 houses/lots in the Subdivision, all on the
water.
West Harbor Landings
West Harbor Landings refers to the streets immediately
surrounding the swimming pool and the next four streets to the
west as you travel down Maritime Parkway. The last street in
West Harbor Landings (Harbor Crossing) is actually on the
water and each house has a beautiful water view with a boat
dock.
You own your own land in West Harbor Landings (basically you own
the dock and the land goes with it) Monthly association fees
are $70.00 (includes swimming pool, garbage, water,
sewer, snow removal, docks, etc.). There are still many lots
available in West Harbor Landings. Click on the hit button
"Lots" and you will see which ones are available. Rob and I
live in the Landings and we couldn't be happier.
West Harbor Cove
This was the original area which surrounds Charter
Captains Marina down at the end by the West Harbor Channel.
(Mike Griffin's Marina). It is my understanding that it was
for charter captains originally. These homes were mostly
singlewides. As time has progressed many of them are now
doublewides. The singlewides have all been updated and are
beautiful as well. This area is filled with huge trees,
therefore, the street names are "tree names" such as Maple,
Ash, Locust, etc. (Not a Filbert among them). Currently
residents pay a monthly fee for rental of their land, however
it is in the "works" for these residents to purchase their
land. This community has swimming pool privileges as well. The Cove is definitely a happy and peaceful place to
live.
West Harbor Marina
This community is basically the same as West Harbor
Landings although it refers to the homes on Constitution that
are on the channel and all the homes just in front of the
custom built homes on Mistic Bay. The same privileges go with
the “Marina” as does the “Landings”. Basically they are
"sister" communities, just slightly different bylaws. Their
monthly association fees are $80.00. There are many
desirable lots still available in "The Marina". This is a
beautiful area and offers great views.
West Harbor Lagoons (different developer)
You will find West Harbor Lagoons just to the left when
you drive into our community off Maritime Parkway. This area
has two streets and all homes are on the channel. The
residents have currently been in the process of buying their
land also. If you have an interest in buying in West
Harbor Lagoons you will want to see whether the current
resident has purchased their land or not. If they have not,
you may purchase the land at this time. Complete home prices
range from $30,000 to approx. $180,000 based on location and
whether the owner has purchased the land. It is approx
$70,000 (+/-) to purchase the land. Many of our friends
live in the Lagoons and this is definitely a fun place to
live.
West Harbor Subdivision --These
are the custom built homes which are on Mistic Bay (this
refers to the street name) They are all directly on West
Harbor Channel or the adjoining side channel. They all have a
beautiful waterfront view. There are still several lots which
are not built on yet, and two are currently for sale. There
are also 3 homes currently on the market. We would be happy
to show you the homes and the lots that are for sale in the
Subdivision. These homes range from approx. $500,000 to
$2,000,000. Most of these homes are 3 story with walkout
lower levels. Their view is spectacular.
