3:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Touch-A-Truck Check out pictures from last year by clicking HERE. Touch-A-Truck provides an opportunity for kids of all ages to climb on, explore and learn about all sorts of vehicles. Fire Trucks, Police Car, Back Hoe, Paddy Wagon, Bus, Tow Truck, Police Car, Snow Plow, Hurse, Bucket Truck, Street Sweeper and much more will be on display. 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM – PHOTOS WITH WYLIE Have your picture taken with the most famous fish on the planet! Before he drops to ring in the New Year, Wylie Walleye will be available for photos in the heated tent. Photos will be printed on site so you can take home a memory of the evening. Photo packages begin at $10. All proceeds will be utilized by the Walleye Madness at Midnight Committee to continue the Walleye Drop for future years.

3:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Kids Games The Port Clinton High School Key Club is offering a variety of fun, challenging and FREE games that will entertain and excite kids as they wait for Wylie’s appearance.

6:00 PM – Kids Drop: We’d like to invite all the little minnows in the area whose bedtime is well before midnight to bring their parents for the early edition of the Walleye Drop. This event will take place in the heated tent promptly at 6:00 PM

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Bands on the Street:Settle The Sky, winners of the Camp Perry Rocks Ottawa County youth battle of the bands held earlier this year, will perform live on the main stage.

5:00 PM – Midnight – Ohio Lottery: To help Wylie Walleye drop into the New Year, the Ohio Lottery will be the sponsor of the fireworks at midnight. They will also be giving away free 2009 Doubler instant tickets, Cash Explosion instant tickets, Buy-one-get-one promotional tickets, as well as unveiling the four (4) grand prize-winning $1,000,000 ticket numbers for the New Year’s Raffle game.
The NEW YEAR’S RAFFLE is a special, limited run $20 raffle ticket sold at Ohio Lottery retailers throughout Ohio. Only 500,000 tickets will be sold, with four (4) Grand Prize Winners receiving $1,000,000 each, in addition to hundreds of instant winners. Sharon Bicknell, co-host of the Ohio Lottery Cash Explosion – Double Play TV Game Show, will be meeting fans and signing autographs in the Entertainment Tent from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Be there. You could reel in the New Year as an instant winner!

7:00 PM – Rock-Paper-Scissors Contest We’ve taken this backyard game to a whole new level. Open to all ages the Classic Rock-Paper-Scissors Challenge pits friend vs. friend, family member vs. family member, neighbor vs. neighbor. Preliminary rounds swill be held starting at 7:00 PM in the heated tent with the FINAL ROUND HELD ON THE MAIN STAGE AS MIDNIGHT APPROACHES. No actual ROCKS, PAPERS OR SCISSORS ARE USED IN THIS GAME.

8:00 PM – Well after Midnight - Main stage activity & entertainment
Port Clinton’s own Yvonne Dubber. Jennifer Tingley adds a little bit of country while Shannon DeShannon will get your hips swinging with his Rockabilly Piano. Chris Marcinko will also unveil several new Wylie Singalong Songs so everyone can share the fun! Expect Port Clinton’s Mayor Debbie Hymore-Tester to make a guest appearance. And don’t miss Wylie Walleye who will be available for photos and autographs all night long!
