Mon Ami This is a place where you can go everyday and be able to see your friends, jump up to the bar, or sit at a cozy table, and feel like you really fit in.  The food is incredible, the servers are friendly, and everyone has a good time. Rob and I have been coming to Mon Ami for decades and it continues to be one of our very favorite places.  I really like it because it is so quaint, yet so large.  In every season you have a place that you roam around in and never feel closed in.  In the summer you can sit on their patios on their large lawn under the umbrellas and trees and feel like you are in a forest.  The chalet is very appealing with its fireplace and high ceilings and great windows.   This has to be the prettiest bar I have ever seen with the dance floor right beside it.  Comfortable bar stools too.  Huge TV’s to watch all your favorite sports.  Many times we have sat in the tasting room and sampled Mon Ami wines.  They are all so good that we can sample them over and over and still enjoy them time and time again while tasting some cheese offerings and other assorted goodies.  You never know who you will be sitting beside and we always end up having great conversations.  Great wine selection to take home.  Also, the gift shop has something for everyone.  The food in the chalet is superb.  From the pretzel crusted halibut to their yummy wood fired pizzas, and everything in between, the servings are large and everything comes out perfectly cooked.  The “First Class” dining room is beyond compare.  We particularly love the seafood buffets on the weekend.  Another favorite is the Sunday brunch where they offer breakfast entries, salads, pastas, carved beef, shrimp, and hundreds of other selections it seems.  You’ll love them all.  Great Bloody Marys and Mimosas.  I forgot to say how much I love the bands that play at Mon Ami.  This is the hottest place in town to grab your friend or mate and do a little dancing.  Some of the greatest bands play at Mon Ami.  New Year’s Eve is a blast.  Make your reservations early!! When you are looking for a fun place where somebody for sure knows your name, be sure it’s Mon Ami.  You’ll probably see us sitting there too because in a couple words  “We Love It”  Come enjoy Mon Ami with us and you too will become a regular.  Tell them Rob and Joy sent you.
