Welcome!! My name is Skipper Rob and I Love Lake Erie. Yep, that's right. Everything about it. From the moment I wake up 'til the time I go to bed, I am enjoying my Lake Erie Life. And The Best Part is, I get to wake up and start it over again.
My First Mate, Joy, and I have been coming to Lake Erie since we were teenagers. Just crossing the Route 2 bridge brings a smile to our faces. We hope you feel the same way about Lake Erie as we do. There's a peacefulness about it, right? You can't wait to get here. Leave your worries behind. It's true you know. The sound of the waves, the purring of the boat motors, the wind in the sails, the cooing of the doves, the cry of the seagulls, the laughs of the children, the jokes of the grown ups, the storms approaching, the clanging of the buoys, the sunrise--the sunset. Yep, that's my Life and I want to share it with you.
Over the many years we have met some of the most wonderful people and experienced some of the most friendly businesses. Everything is a little slower pace than in the city. It's fun seeing the business owners in their businesses. It's fun walking into a bar and seeing friends. It's fun being called by your name. It's sorta like the TV show "Cheers". Everyone knows your name. Yep, It's All About Fun.
